Expertise studies and computer assisted drawings for twenty-five engineering structures, Algeria

Detailed inspection of twenty-five bridges, complete diagnostic and rehabilitation recommendations, call for tender document preparation.

A complete analysis will be performed on the engineering structures, of various types and sizes, most of which are essential components of the Algerian road network.  Eight of these structures are over 200 meter long; four exceed 400 m and one is over 800 meter long.  All twenty five engineering structures are of There are 8 engineering works of over 200 m long, 4 of more than 400 m and one over 800 m. Nine (9) other bridges have lengths varying between 100 m and 200 m.  All 25 engineering structures  are made up of different materials: reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete, steel /concrete or masonry and concrete.  The project involves slab type bridges, slab on beam bridges, wire mesh truss bridges, as well as simple or multiple arc structures.

In addition to the inspection of these engineering structures, Dessau performed ground surveys and geotechnical investigations, concrete core drilling and testing, in order to recreate the structures geometry and verify material quality and conditions.

These investigations were carried out using various techniques and methods such as access by climbing and roping down
