As part of Iles-de-la-Madeleine’s broadband network project, Dessau was instrumental in developing the business plan and studies that led to the acceptance and commissioning of the island's integrated communication network project.

In this 18 M$ project, Dessau’s mandate consisted in supporting Delaney Consultations and members of RICEIM, including the municipality and local School Board, in the steps required for the implementation of  broadband telecommunication infrastructures to connect the Islands with the continent, by building two underwater fibre optic cable infrastructures (COGIM).
