LaPinière Water treatment plant, Laval

This project consisted in designing a control and data acquisition system for a wastewater treatment facility with an average capacity of 240 000 m3/d and providing service to 281 300 persons. 

The treatment plant includes a pumping station; pre-treatment (screening, grit chambers); primary sedimentation; chemical phosphate removal; UV disinfection; sludge thickening and dewatering; thermal stabilization of sludge (drying). 

Dessau's Automation was responsible for the entire station's control and data acquisition system.
