Last night at the gala ceremony for the sixth Grands Prix du génie-conseil québécois 2008, Quebec’s major consulting-engineering awards, Dessau won three awards (Léonards). The ceremony took place at the Montreal Science Centre.

Infrastructure asset management, Longueuil

Dessau was mandated by the city of Longueuil to develop and supply a decision support system (DSS) enabling the city to provide short and long term investment plans for pavement, sewer and aqueduct infrastructures. The DSS is made up of a computerized tool for inventory and infrastructure condition data collection, geographical reference software for data processing, multicriteria analysis module to calculate a new generation of ratings and classifications of infrastructure conditions called "integrated condition rating", a financial planning tool and risk analysis as well as a database for municipal infrastructure management
